The Ukrainian Institute for the Future (UIF) is an independent think tank that forecasts changes in Ukraine and around the world and models possible scenarios for future developments. UIF experts formulate practical recommendations for government action in the form of reports, analytical notes, draft legislation, and other materials.

Among our major works are the Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 and the books “Vision of Ukraine 2030” and “Vision of Ukraine 2035” — a comprehensive national strategy with a realistic scenario for the country’s transformation over the next decade and mechanisms for change in security, the economy, public administration, education, energy, and social policy.

We are a unique think tank in Ukraine where there is always room for different points of view, interesting and competent discussions, and coordinated and effective work. UIF is always one step ahead!

UIF is a joint project created by representatives of Ukrainian business, politics, and civil society. It was founded in 2016.

Founders:

• Anatolii Amelin — Executive Director and co-founder of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, founder of the consulting company Amelin Strategy, co-founder of the Centre for Economic Recovery, and independent member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
• Ihor Liski — co-founder and member of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future and founder of the investment company EFI Group.
• Anton Hulidin — Director of the Friends of Ukraine Foundation, adviser to the Ombudsman, and civic activist.

The mission of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future (UIF) is to design a successful future for Ukraine through expert research and discussions that encourage high-quality political decision-making in both Ukrainian and international politics.

Our experts are professionals in their field. They have extensive experience in their field and a wealth of knowledge and skills. Each expert is interviewed and proves that they are worthy of being part of our team!

Debates of the Future is a project of the UIF organized in accordance with the best international practice of holding discussion forums in the style of the Oxford Club. UIF acts as an independent platform for debate on important topics. The project aims to raise awareness of Ukrainian citizens about the most important economic, political, and social issues in the country and to create a culture of constructive and reasoned debate.

Our projects explore important issues for Ukraine’s development, combining articles and reports to develop recommendations and strategies.
