Petro Poroshenko’s meeting with Trump, Pence and McMaster is a strong signal for the beginning of a new stage in relations between Ukraine and the USA.

Thus is interpreted the visit by American diplomats and representatives of conservative think tanks, whom we meet with our colleagues in DC.

The drop-in format in the Trump administration, that is short talks, is typical for 90% of the meetings of the new US President, who doesn’t like a diplomatic etiquette.

We were told about this in the Heritage Foundation, the leading think tank, close to the current administration. It is in Heritage tomorrow that Poroshenko’s working breakfast will be held with the representatives of the expert and business community. While in DC all are waiting for surprises from Trump. And yes, the meeting in the Oval Office is a separate signal of the high status negotiations.
