The IT unit of the apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada jointly with the Ukrainian Institute for the Future and a team of IT developers FintechLab developed and presented an electronic assistant for peopleʼs deputies of the 9th convocation. This assistant can in a very short time and in the form of text messages provide the information needed for the deputyʼs work. This was discussed in the interview with Anton Semenov, one of the developers of the electronic assistant for peopleʼs deputies, the expert on issues related to the artificial intelligence of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future.
This chatbot will have different information: from the location of the meeting room to the solution of working, legal and technical issues that deputy will face daily.
The bot will be able to organize the work of the deputyʼs assistant, explain how to work in the electronic document management system, familiarize with the nuances of legislative activity (how the legislative process takes place, what are the requirements established by the Verkhovna Rada Regulations, provide information on the terminology of legislation (Eurovoc) and the like).
In addition, the chat-bot will help the deputy to master the skills of working in electronic law-drafting system.
The bot also has an integrated phone directory with the necessary contacts. Developers took into account even some small details that are useful – the peopleʼs deputy will be able to learn in time about birthdays of the colleagues and congratulate them.
