On June 20, mass protests began in Georgia due to a scandal with the State Duma MP who came to the country’s Parliament to participate in the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy. The event was opened not by the speaker of the Georgian Parliament, but by communist Sergei Gavrilov, who sat in the chair of the head of the Georgian Parliament. According to Irakliy Jhanashiya, an expert on national security and defence of the UIF, Russia makes this mistake on multiple occasions – tries to suppress the rallies in other countries. After all, as a rule, Russia is involved in the suppression of rallies in countries which it attacks. Therefore, these events are a point explosion. And oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili will guarantee this. He has close relations with Russia and heads the Georgian ruling party Georgian Dream. In 2014, Georgia bought gas from Azerbaijan and sold electricity to Russia. Today Georgia buys gas and electricity from Russia and does not sell anything. How did this happen? Bidzina Ivanishvili is also the largest stakeholder of Gazprom. And then everything falls into place, because Ivanishvili will be interested in ending of all the rallies and that the money will keep coming in.
