The discussion of the initiative of the Russian Federation on the peacekeeping mission in Donbas continues in Ukraine. Petro Poroshenko has recently touched this theme during his speech from the UN platform. The President of Ukraine expressed his confidence that the UN mission is an effective solution and stated that it should cover the entire occupied territory, including the border between the two states. Igar Tyshkevych, an analyst of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, gave his expert assessment of this situation in the publication of the information and analytical portal “Khvylya” (“the Wave”).
