HUNGARIAN DIPLOMATIC ACTIVITY FOR THE PAST WEEK: NO MIGRANTS, “YES” TO THE “PROTECTION” OF THE HUNGARIANS LIVING IN THE NEIGHBOURING STATES

This week, Hungarian politicians noted the dynamic development of relations with Austria that was not seen for the past 7 years, held a two-day meeting with Netanyahu, discussed cooperation with Norway on defence and energy issues. Hungary does not forget to take care of national minorities. Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén and the leaders of four organizations of the ethnic Hungarian communities in the Carpathian basin signed the Declaration on cooperation within the EU. According to the agreement, they will jointly promote the interests of Hungarian communities in the Carpathian basin in the European Union. 951 million forints has been allocated this year to support investment projects of national minorities in Hungary and there are 52 support programs.
