Construction of concrete roads is 40% more profitable than asphalt roads – Shulmeyster

Based on the results of 20 years of operation, concrete roads are 40% cheaper than asphalt roads, taking into account the need of the latter in capital repairs every 6-12 years. This was announced by Volodymyr Shulmeyster, the Director of the Program “Infrastructure of the Future” of the think tank Ukrainian Institute for the Future, during a speech at the meeting of the Committee on Transport in the Verkhovna Rada.
