Igor Liski is one of the few entrepreneurs who actively invest in new business in Ukraine. He did not stop doing this even after he lost his main production assets during the war in the Donbas region. Among the new projects of the businessman: honey processing plant Beehive, projects in the energy sector and a start-up connected with the production of cardboard toys. Leadership Journey asked Igor how to build a business in the country that is constantly experiencing political and economic crises.
I like when the idea is inspiring people when they understand that they are working not to receive best KPI, but when they feel involved in what is happening in the company. I like the word “creation” and I want to think that every project we make is helping the world to become at least a little better. When, for example, in a godforsaken village appears a modern enterprise that not only gives jobs and pays taxes but also creates a progressive product and promotes the industry.
