It is important to emphasize that Ukrstat, unlike in previous years, has published data that include the amount of reinvested revenues of Ukranian banks. This is one of the reasons for the “superiority” of Russia in FDI received by the economy of Ukraine. After all, subsidiary banks of the Russian Federation function in our country and the NBU establishes requirements for the stability of banks (capital adequacy). Therefore, Russian investments, for the most part, are directed at refinancing of subsidiary banks to keep them “up and running”.
