On March 27, The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany gave permission for the construction of a gas pipeline from Russia to Germany bypassing Ukraine “Nord Stream-2”. In order to start construction, Russia needs approvals from four other countries through which the gas pipeline will run: Russia, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Expert of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future on Energy Andrian Prokip predicted such development of events from the very beginning of the year.

uifuture.org made a digest of Prokip’s comments for mass media on the future of the Russian pipeline.
