On January 23, there was an event in Venezuela that caused an international crisis and made many people think that a new conflict with the involvement of global players is starting in full view, but at this time – in Latin America. The head of the Venezuelan Parliament, one of the opposition leaders Juan Guido proclaimed himself “interim resident” after the Parliament deemed the current President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro illegitimate. Immediately after that, a number of countries anchored by the US recognized Juan Guido as the new President of the country. Others have stated that they support Maduro.
