Oleksiy Pavlenko heads the Program of agro-infrastructure development at the UIF

The team of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future brought into the fold a former Minister of Agriculture and Food Oleksiy Pavlenko. In UIF, he was appointed as a director of the Program of agro-infrastructure development. Program objectives are the development of a strategy and concept of development of the agricultural sector and infrastructure.

Oleksiy Pavlenko launched the systemic and large-scale transformations in the agricultural sector of our country. The process of deregulation and privatization was launched, markets for agricultural products were constantly expanding and exports’ volumes increased, the strategy of agriculture development which was a result of joint efforts of the recognized international and Ukrainian experts was developed.

MPs and experts call Pavlenko one of the few genuine reformers who are able to make real and implement reforms, not just talk about them. Oleksiy Pavlenko will continue his work on developing the infrastructure and agricultural sector in the UIF.
